Leave a commentSorry, but these are important, Nigerians who tweet @WeAreNaija, though not really censored, they must agree to abide by the following rules to become a participant:
1. You must live, work or play in Nigeria.
2. You must agree to play nice on the account. No spamming, fighting or being obscene. Generally bear in mind that it’s a family friendly account, and we’re trying to engage people, not alienate them.
3. No hate speech allowed, including tweets (or RTs) that are racist, homophobic, or otherwise intended to be hurtful.
4. No ad hominem attacks allowed (An argument made personally against an opponent, instead of against the opponent’s argument.)
5. You must not undertake any admin procedures other than Tweet and RT and Follow.
6. You must not change the Twitter password.
If a curator’s tweets or actions are found not to adhere to these standards, the tweets will be removed and the curator’s privileges suspended immediately.
